Rating System

My Rating System*:

1Hated the book. Couldn’t connect with the main characters and couldn’t get into the book. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and wouldn’t reread the book. Would not read anything else by the author.

2Didn’t like the book. Couldn’t get into the book but was able to connect with one of the main characters. On the fence about recommending/rereading the book. Would be on the fence about reading the rest of the series, if the book was part of one. Would be on the fence about reading other books by the author.

3The book was OK. Was able to connect somewhat with the main characters and I was able to somewhat get into the book. Would recommend the book but would be on the fence about rereading it. Would continuing reading the series, if the book was part of one. Would also read other books by the author.

4Liked the book. Was able to connect with the main characters and was able to get into the book. Would recommend the book and would reread it. Would continue reading the book if it is part of a series. Would also read other books by the author.

5 – Loved the book. Was able to connect with the main characters and was able to get 100% into the book. Would highly recommend the book and would definitely reread it. Would continue to read the series, if it is in one (actually would be stalking the author’s web page and hoping that I get an email asking if I could review the next book). Would most definitely read other books by the author.

I very rarely rate a book a 5 or a 1 and I will mainly rate them 3’s or 4, with an occasional 2 drop in there.

I also rate the book by what age level it’s right for. The categories are:

Child: Under the age of 10.

Tween:  For the ages between 10-13

Young Teen: For ages 13-16.

Older Teen: For ages 16-20

Adult: Ages 20 on up.
