Before I do my review, I have to put up this disclaimer: I received this product from Crowdtap and Sahale Snacks for free for my honest review. Any and all opinions expressed in this review are mine and mine alone. I received no financial compensation for this review. As with my other reviews, I will post the link to the Sahale website after my review is done.
I am not a fan of layered granola bars. Not a fan of all. Actually, can’t stand them. So I when I received the Sahale Snacks sample from Crowdtap, to say I wasn’t thrilled was an understatement.
I decided to try one (the Almond Vanilla Latte one) with B, thinking I would have a tiny little corner and that would be enough for me to say “Tried it, now I can blog about it”. Well, I made a huge fool out of myself because guess what, I loved it.
I loved that the sample contained two packages of almonds and cashews in there. The Honey Almonds were delicious while I was so so on the Pomegranate Vanilla flavored cashews. I think it was the taste because I love regular cashews.
So, as part of the sample mission, I had incorporate these into a snack/dessert/meal idea. I decided to cut up some layered granola bars, incorporate some into the cut up bars into the brownie batter and sprinkle the rest on top of it. B test tasted after they were done and cooled and she said they were delicious. The only issue I had was that the chopped up granola bars on top cause the batter to concave in the middle.
So, in conclusion, I would reccomend Sahale Snacks to family and friends. They are healthy and delicious.
